The Saint-Cyriac Chapel is located on the shores of the magnificent Lake Kénogami in Saguenay. Since its founding in 1902, it has been a true symbol of community spirit for the people of Lac-Kénogami. The heritage site has been recognized as part of Quebec’s cultural heritage since 2006 due to its historical and architectural significance. For more than five years, it has also become a true symbol of community spirit for the people of Lac-Kénogami, who are working together to turn it into a community hub. Founded in 2019, the Société de développement du parc patrimonial Cyriac (SDPPC) is dedicated to protecting, developing, and showcasing Cyriac Heritage Park and Saint-Cyriac Chapel.
