The FMC is one of the few events devoted to creative music to be held outside major Canadian centers. An essential component of the regional and national artistic ecosystem, it provides the regional population with access to current and diversified musical works, presented by high-calibre artists. For over 35 years, it has been helping to ensure that creative music, in all its forms, shines out in the Saguenay and reaches the general public.
