The Kingdom Music Festival
The Festival de musique du Royaume's mission is to promote and enhance the learning of music through an annual competition for music students from the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region and from Quebec conservatories and faculties of music (Virtuoso Classical Music class).
The Kingdom Music Festival is registered with the provincial government as a non-profit organization and with the federal government as a registered charity.
The Festival de musique du Royaume gives music students from the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region the opportunity to perform on stage before an audience, while receiving constructive feedback from a jury of professional musicians. It's a showcase for what's being done in the region's music schools. The Festival de musique du Royaume also offers financial support in the form of prizes of excellence awarded to the winners of the competition.
